Canon EOS D10 [02/20/2003]
Informations came from Germany and Spain told me that the D60 successor is the EOS D10 for the PMA 2003 with :
- 7 AF points,
- 6 MP (same sensor as the D60),
- Faster AF,
Prix : 1845 Euros (in Spain).
For the PMA 2003 wi will probably have more precise information about the Canon EF 500mm f/2,8 DO IS USM.
The new DSLR based on the EOS 3 has been seen in Munich :
- 8 MP,
- Magnesium alloy body,
- ergonomics close to the EOS 3.
Price and availablilty still unknow.
Canon Digital, RoadMap ? [01/30/2003]
I had information that the futur Roadmap for Canon in the digital range is :
For the PMA 2003 :
The D80 which will be based with the same CMOS sensor than the D60, but correct the D60's flaw.
In 2003 two new digital SLR :
- D40 (name not definitive) with a sensor with less pixels,
- D3 (name not definitive) based on the EOS 3. It should be placed between the D60 and the 1D.
In 2004 :
A new digital SLR will be presented, a kind of EOS 300D with a suprising price ! The Digital SLR for everybody !
All these information must be confirmed by official Canon announcement. Wait & See !
Canon EOS D60 : The End ! [08/01/2003]
Canon France claim that the D60 is dead ! It's no more produced. His replacement will be available very soon ! We will know all, at the PMA in march !
Canon News ! [12/08/2002]
Canon may annonce the EOS D80 based on the EOS 3. I will may presented at the CeBIT and not to the PMA 2003. Also 3 new DO Lenses. 2 of them will be presented in the spring newt year
